Institutional Membership

Knowledge Commons is a non-profit that relies on the support of our users and member organizations to keep our vital infrastructure free and open to everyone. Member institutions are not only supporting the advancement of knowledge in their own institution, but also supporting independent scholars all over the world who do not fall within the infrastructure of larger academic institutions. As you might imagine, keeping our tools open to everyone is not an easy feat in the amount of time, energy, resources, and money that is needed.

Knowledge Commons also offers KCWorks for Institutions, a powerful enterprise-grade repository for academic research, collaboration tools, and publishing support for scholars and institutions. We handle migrations from your existing system and cost less than our competitors. Visit join.hcommons.org or email network@hcommons.org for more information, including technical specs and pricing.

Our member organizations include: Modern Language Association, Association of University Presses, Art Libraries Society of North America, Michigan State University, HASTAC, Society of Architectural Historians, James Madison University, University of Oregon, Utrecht University.
